Turning Points in Church History

Many Christians know little of the history of God’s people for the past two millennium, thinking it be mostly irrelevant to their lives today. Perhaps the biggest thing we gain in learning church history is a great boost to our faith in God, for he has been at work in amazing ways to preserve and extend his church. Turning Points in Church History (based on a book by Mark Noll: Turning Points: Decisive Moments in the History of Christianity) will consider fourteen of the major events, people, and movements that have transformed the church over the centuries. As noted, we will be offering this class both in person and by way of Zoom. Join us to learn of and to celebrate the journey of God’s people.

This class will be taught by Pastor Mark and former DCE Allie Urberg on Thursday evenings in the Adult Study Room.
